Walk moderate effort (+) with small climbing through the hillside of Sugar Loaf.
The complex known as Pão de Açúcar is formed by two hills. The higher hill is Pão de Açúcar (396 meters above sea level) and the lowest is the Morro da Urca (220 meters).
There are trails for both. The trail of the Costão, that leads to the top of Pão de Açúcar, requires a rapid escalation (8 meters long) and safety equipment are included.
The view from up there is priceless, where we can admire the Copacabana beach, the Guanabara Bay, the neighborhood of Urca, the Corcovado and more.
During the trail there is a short climbing stretch, easy, fast, safe and perfect for beginners (not required previous experience in climbing)
